Netflix的根基定閱在2022年1月首次上漲 11%。與此同時，標準和高級計劃在統一期間分別漲價20%和25%。另外一項緣由則是用戶認為Netflix沒有太多精彩的節目可看，不少節目和片子未再和Netflix合作，轉移陣地至其他串流平台，曩昔在公司開發本身的原創節目之前，Netflix因授權許多電視節目和片子進行串流媒體播放而廣受歡迎。可是近些年來，這些節目已不是Netflix專屬。

日前，reviews.org針對1000名美國用戶進行調查，發現美國人平均利用4種串流平台。此中，Netflix是最受歡迎的串流媒體，最少有70%的美國人定閱，排行第2名為HBO Max，僅占9.91%，與Netflix差距達60.09%。而第3名至第5名依序為Disney+（6.18%）、 Peacock（4.25%）、Hulu（3.86%）。
